I assume there's a reason why the oil filler cap is on the drivers side.

Bugger, I know something didn't look right, I knew I was building it to out last a tank just not an Italian one, with 1 forward gear and 5 reverse.
There's a very good reason for the oil filler cap being on the opposite side, I shall let you know when I've decided what that is.

Looking good spuds smile

Are you at all concerned with how difficult it's going to be to terminate the brake lines to the body once the body is on? There's not a lot of room with the engine in. Or is there a solution for that, that I'm blissfully unaware of smile

No figures as it was a road map but will be getting it checked and adjusted if needs be on the dyno soon.

Wheelspin in 3rd suggests it's got some power though!

I like that, any link to the fitting in the manifold you used? Is it AN8?

An -8 from torque on eBay it's a full flow fitting you need a separate -8 to -8 male to male fitting to go in the manifold

Isn't that where TVR fitted their coolant temperature sender? I thought that was a blank end, is this a coolant route modification?

It just a threaded hole, 3/4 jic or an-8.
I wanted to hide the heater pipes as much as possible so this location is perfect, a lot of us are using the Range Rover temp sender with a resistor so this sender was redundant

I've done the Rover sender mod and left the now redundant TVR sender in place. I thought the old sender threaded hole was blank, i.e. no pipework coming from it. If so, what's the purpose of that pipe?

So you can do away with those unsightly rigid pipes that run alongside the o/s rocker cover with the added bonus of easier bleeding
