Make sure you label the ribbon cables. The ribbons have pin 1 marked both ends, the lights or fan modules have pin 1 marked but the switches on the dash do not.

If you get a chance could you take a photo of each switch and let me know where pin 1 is as I have this very problem when I come to put mine back together.

Steve, the top of my dash is off. If there is anything you want details of please shout and I'll try and help.
Cheers

I also have my dash out to replace the veneer, but I found it easier to leave the dials in as they were virtually all on 2 multi pin plugs, I could then take it apart on the bench, I found the lower dash and the switch fixings more of a challenge

Right belay that.
I've been and removed my switches from the main and sub dash panels. With each switch out I can now see the pin markings on the underside of the circuit boards.
To help me I've marked them on the white plastic of the connector and for everybody else I've taken pics.

Lights switch

Fog Light Switch

Fan Speed Switch

Hazard Switch

Yes out of the Jensen Interceptor. We bought the Triumph as replacing with another Interceptor was just too expensive an option. The Triumph already has a Hauser chassis and cage and has a multilink 9" axle. Lots to do but at least we can now see its do-able. The sump needs changing first and the motor will sit a whopping 3" lower.

Finally finished getting the lift together, now time to start giving the TVR some love, and seeing if it's possible to make an RV8 oil tight.
