thumbup I like that, it's amazing how much better the engine bay looks with a fresh coat of paint on it. Has anyone ever done it body coloured?

I fitted this today, bit better than the lump of threaded rust that was in there...

Probably not as you can't see much of the engine bay with everything I place,
A big push tomorrow and I'm hoping to have the body back on

Finally finished getting the lift together, now time to start giving the TVR some love, and seeing if it's possible to make an RV8 oil tight.

As oil tight as the four Olympus and Rover APU in 558? hehe

Love the garage set up thumbup

yes A bit of pointless bling as you can't really see it, but the state of the old one was annoying me.

Absolutely. That looks very neat. That new heat shield looks better than what I put in I think. Was it already cut to size?

It's handy being an upholsterer sometimes, having my own industrial sewing machine to finish the edges

Central do it all edged, the 7 piece kit for the inner wings, bulkhead and transmission tunnel is £130 without the vat which is a better option as its £132 from Chimaerapartsonline and thats without the heat shield for the transmission tunnel which i cant see on their website

It that the engine from your friend's car who sadly passed away?
Yes out of the Jensen Interceptor. We bought the Triumph as replacing with another Interceptor was just too expensive an option. The Triumph already has a Hauser chassis and cage and has a multilink 9" axle. Lots to do but at least we can now see its do-able. The sump needs changing first and the motor will sit a whopping 3" lower.
Good work, you will have done your friend proud when it is finished. thumbup

Cut a 5inch hole in each inner front wing yikesyikes. Then siliconed an inspection hatch into each one, to allow quick/easy access to replace headlight bulbs .
