yes
That's a cracking good chassis too.

There's some goodies hiding in there.

I'm coming to like the Air box more and more.
Had the opportunity of a twin throttle body one but can't justify it with my engines power output.

Fast fast engine going in there Peter. thumbup

I have many, this is but just but one smile

Flam tap,, that's another hehe
No that ones easy it's the 17 stroke roll I'm struggling with. biglaugh actually that's easy too scratchchin

When you combine a triple parraddiddle with an inverted flam tap onto a 15 stroke roll finishing with a buzz role,,
In a 6/8 time frame,,,,,, your rocking man hehe
Any guesses what I've been indulging myself with this evening biggrin

Nope, car is fast enough for the road and mostly for the track although if you will bhp wouldn't go amiss!!

Even now it can spin the rear wheels up in the wet at 85 in fourth so can't imagine what it would do with another 150 or so bhp!

Also don't need the downside of the possibility of further aggro, (crankcase breathing etc, etc).

So, reasonably happy to stay with 380ish or so bhp and 460 torque.

I just made up a bit and simple bracketry made up from what I had kicking around and bolted to the top of the rad cowl bolt fixings.

One day I will make up a purpose made bracket and powder coat it to match.

new heater hose and new heater matrix pipes that sit under the heater box in the passenger footwell.
Both the pipe sets are in stainless steel and were purchased from ACT.
Here they are installed:
I had no idea ACT did the ones for the footwell. I will get myself a set of those, mine are very corroded.

Fitted the bonnet. Lined it up all nice, gaps even and straight at the front but the latch wouldn't engage. Tried adjusting it but it still wasn't playing ball so I decided that maybe the mechanism was the problem.

Had the extension bar to hand for the socket set I was using and it fitted nicely into the latch, pushed down on it and the latch locked and held it into place. Cool so the latch works and it just needs adjusting a little higher.

That's where it all went wrong. The extension bar was locked into the bonnet latch and wouldn't slide out so I just lent over the door and pulled the release cable under the dashboard. I knew that it was a bad move as soon as I did it. There was a second of silence after the initial bang of the mechanism releasing and then another bang as the extension bar bounced off of the wing leaving a lovely big chip in the paint.

That was 2 hours and 3 beers ago and I've still got the hump about it irked

I'm still kicking myself about it. Trying to decide if I would have prefered it to hit the windscreen, but then it may have bounced off of that onto the wing and I would have damaged two things with my idiocy. Wonder how high it flew, there's a strip light unprotected right above the car hehe
