...............Collected the chassis today so started work on cleaning all the threads ready for assembly process
Also take a new bolt and gently file all the suspension mount holes until your new bolt fits. If you don't you may well chip the paint trying to assemble things later

She's running again. Idle mixture is lean and it wont idle over 500rpm. Have to adjust it tomorrow..

I wonder could only heads make difference in idle mixture? Bigger port etc?

Just start fitting wild cat heads. Need longer pushrods and lash caps to get better geometry.
If you want, I can photograph and measure the length of my pushrods when I change the cam on mine in a few weeks time.
All setups are different. So lenght is unique per setup/engine. I will need 8.85" long. Eaven longer. But valves are to short. And my roller rockers then hit polylock at full lift if use longer pushrods..

And i do not want to buy some custom lenght valves. Hole package need to be build again then if want 100% best results. Stupid designer..
Just measured mine.

8.85" long. Its written on the pushrod.

I’d have to sort out that tie back of those braided lines. Surely the perfectionist would want one per hose and separated. Vibration won’t do them any favours. That’s the stuff you find out when you drive them though biggrin
Lovely and clean. thumbup
