I am incredibly happy with it - I've done 300 miles since last Thursday. There is an electrical gremlin in the dash which will get sorted when it goes back for its oil change at 1k miles.

Steve is great. Really knows TVRs inside out and won't persuade you to have more done than is needed. Saying that, this job wasn't cheap but the more we dug the worse we found. For a 13 year old car it was in a shocking state, particularly as it was sold to me as a superb example. I probably own the world's most expensive Chimaera but at least I know it is spot on and when I drive it, I know where the money has gone.

Trip down to Steve's for the oil change and to sort the electrical glitch which was causing all sorts of weird gauge and other dashboard symptoms. This was a five minute fix spent cleaning the common earth for the dash.

The car feels superb and the rebuilt engine particularly is brilliant.

Glad all is ok with your car. Did you see how the outrigger job was progressing on our old 3000m smile

I saw your lovely new chassis with a beast of an engine poking out!

The one he tweaked was behind the carpet on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel under the dash towards the front.
