Weird Ping from behind dash and some supplier questions

Found and confirmed!

Weird ping is defo from the clear plastic on the dials....

I prodded one today when driving about.... and ping!

Random ping/clicks when hot, yes I get this as well, at one time I thought it was a relay clicking but all seemed to be working OK so I live with it although I feel a lot happier knowing I'm not the only one with this. I shall continue to give it a good ignoring!

I have a Chimaera 450 and occasionally hear a ping noise. Often wondered what it was but never discovered the cause.
