Morgan engine???

From memory and its been a while since I found it, my 430 has another number stamped directly either below or above the orginal number. However it was difficult to see.

Thanks Wuckfit and N7, the buyer has a contact who has access to the Powers data I believe and he's confirming today whether it tallies with the VIN, V5,etc.

I did have one last go yesterday evening and the only other number that I could see on the bottom end was HRC2411 quite near the rear on the bottom face. I believe that this shows it was one of the earlier RV8 blocks used by TVR.

No that denotes that is a 4.0/4.6 x bolted block final revision

fwiw my 500 Chimaera has the engine number stamped on the front of the l/h side {near side} of the block just below the head gasket sufrace.quite hard to find even from below. it is the same number as on the body plate.
