No these are aftermarket black lights it was a bit of a guess if it all worked together, here is another pic.

Bloody confusing ! What is the difference between GTI lights ,projector lights and Chrome angel

The light beam is very good much better than the original set up.
I am no expert but I think the projector is just the light has a glass dome in front of the bulb instead of the using reflectors to provide the light output, both use standard bulbs.
You can see the projectors on the picture, with the LED side lights, it has DRLs but I have not got them connected.
Lupo GTI are projectors and designed for HID bulbs.

Mine is hopefully going into Steve's workshop this month for the mk3 lupo conversion.

I've already sourced my standard lupo lights.

Saw the above car in Steve's workshop and was a little unsure on the projectors - worried they might look a bit too fast&furious but they look really nice! Bit torn now.

Mine is a Midas yellow and I was torn between colour coding the headlamp bowls and going black with smoked covers. Decided on the later after looking at pics of yellow tams and sags and deciding the dark lights will offset the yellow body nicely.

:-) it is photoshop... My chim is 1996 (early grill)but the picture i found to edit was from a later chim than mine
