Some of us blagged a ride in the other GT3 ( also a serial ex TVR owner)......That thing was fast, and soooo planted. I actually felt the six-point harness was necessary, not just cool.
Good to meet you Anthony. Was great to see so many Tivs out on track again. Was like old times What an awesome race, that chap was well on it, flying. So much power just blowing the E types away and everything else for that matter. Must have had a problem in practice to start so far back. Track craft over taking was top class. His commitment through the fast stuff, oh you fighter. Glad to hear the car ran well Peter.
Oil temp, is 118 above working parameters?

Which did you use, out of interest?I wonder which will be the least painful M1, A1 or M11 from the SE
You commented that your T1-Rs weren't looking very good at the end of the day....just spotted this thread:

My R888s were still looking pretty good at the end of what must be their 15th track day.
Good to see everyone there yesterday, it was a slightly challenging day for me with my car going into selfish bd mode and presenting lots of repairable but irritating faults which kept me busy all day, so sorry if I wasn't over chatty.
Thanks for everybody's help with suggestions , kit and manual labour in some cases ( not to mention a bit bit of bung taking when required). Quite disappointed not to get a passenger ride in the GT3 but as said I was busy with cable ties and gaffer tape for the most part.
Still, it was good to get some decent track time in and hopefully I will be in better fettle for Cadwell. Hope everyone else had a good day and got home safely without event.

Yeah they were looking a bit ropey. Perhaps a set of R888s would be cheaper in the long run. Cheers for the link, certainly interesting reading. You commented that your T1-Rs weren't looking very good at the end of the day....just spotted this thread:

Sounds fantastic Mr poxon, yiu using an external mic? Guessing it's a go pro? .
Thank you very much Mr Ellis, yes it is an old GoPro 2 with an Audo Technica ATR-3350 external mic clipped to the rear plate. Not sounding as good as normal as I had the track day cans fitted to meet the noise regs.Gassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
