Right, Gaff I'd previously put offer on is back on the cards, complete with double garage and attached workshop. Second viewing on Saturday.

If this goes ahead, then I'm working with a known budget.

Which means, funds available for beastie biggrin

So, possibly, could afford the following...

Twin turbo supercharged 7 litre Chevy putting out around 9 million bhp. Would probably need transmission strengthening a bit, 15 or maybe 20 speed gearbox, and a spoiler. Maybe 20" wheels, 400mm rotors, and 10 pot calipers. Might need to uprate the rear pads though scratchchin Pod on rear to house parachute, and aero package to keep the old girl stable at speeds over 500kph...

Suspension should be OK, as just had recent Geo smile

Appreciate any constructive thoughts on my forward plan.....

You forgot the all important 'smooth bore elbow' good for another 50hp I've heard hehe
That actually sounds like the build Neal1980 is doing at this very moment so you'll have to up your game a bit.

Based on my little trip over to stoke today..... You may as well fit a little 3 cylinder daihatsu diesel with 30bhp. Aim for 100mpg and a top speed of 35 mph and you'll go with the flow all day longrolleyes

Get rid of the GM and fit something like the Emerald ! You should be getting in to the thirties with your engine and gearbox setup ,2200 rpm at 70mph !

You could have an "ECO" map ,those Garner Douglas LS 3`s do thirty five mpg .

Daz that LS GM ECU is a very very powerful and accurate EMS wink you would be hard push to better it only for the fact mapping it and tuning software (yes via laptop just like your Emerald) is costly frown
