4ltr 570bhp chimp....really??
Discussion
Bring the track day on... Nothing, and no one, is quicker round a track, any track, than me and beastie. OK I'm talking NA. That said, the FI cars can't keep up either.. That's right. I was talking to Fernando in China, and he said 'feck me Chilli, thank God you can't enter beastie into a GP... we'd all be stuffed...' Even Kimi thanked me for not turning up..... Lewis asked if he could take beastie round the Barcelona circuit ahead of the next race... I told him, 'feck off Lewis, you're having a larf'......
So, you need to be real about what you have, it's easy to think because you have a big feck off SC or turbo V8 that you're the man..... or that you're gonna be quicker than all the other guys...
So there we have it...
Sod it, just knocked my '63 burgundy all over the vintage 1897 chaise longue again..

Nah, straights are just a means of getting to the next bend, Cadwell is where any shoot out should happen, timed over 30 mins see which car covers the most laps and use that as a measure.
I would be itching to attend that:-)
Couldn't agree more racing ain't racing unless it's got bends in it ...but 30 minutes! I would be itching to attend that:-)
My tyres would have melted, the brakes would have failed or caught fire and the trannie fluids pissing out the bottom...Make it 12-15 min session and I can nurse it for that long..lol

Me too, and I only have 300 bhp at my disposal. But I will be in the same group as you this time, if I ever get my act together and book. Last time I joined the middle group, and never got overtaken all day. Very wide, these Chimaeras
Afraid I don't think I can make it this year I have run out of leave for the year.phazed said:
The 4.2 cerb doesn't make anywhere near 380, not sure about the 4.5.
engineers low mileage cerb couldn't match the "good" chims for speed on the track.
Mine will after a re-map was making factory numbers more or less on 2 sets of rollers not bad for 60k and cracked manifolds and 15 years old.engineers low mileage cerb couldn't match the "good" chims for speed on the track.

Modern? What a 2 valve SOHC cam motor? Singer were doing those in 1912...
Well 90's modern, based on the bottom end from a F1 car and has racing pedigree but at least it has over head cams going the right way not push rods like my old mini and my old rangie , you boys bite to easy these days! For anyone who has somehow managed to miss this Cerbera vs the World (almost).
Or, for the terminally impatient The short version
Note that it is 'only' the 4.2 AJP
I remember seeing this the week it was first shown.
Mole Valley TVR had it on continuous loop playback in the showroom

Imagine having this VHS bought for you for your sixth birthday and witnessing this. The impact was severe, as two Cerberas later will testify. The Cerbera is the daddy of the TVR range, always was and always will be. Mole Valley TVR had it on continuous loop playback in the showroom
