Might have miss heard what he said but does he really have a 570bhp from a 4ltr rover engine. I know you guys on this forum dream of Cerbera levels of power but I by the looks of it just stick with what you got.

That's a very nice supercharged 4l ,I think it produces around 360hp ,don`t know the torque . All I know is it shifts .

IIRC Nick told me it was producing 335 bhp, though I am convinced he has a digital speedo/rev counter thingy, not those dials? confused

I think the car was re mapped and a smaller pulley was fitted for more boost .

Is that supposed to be a bit of humour or are you naturally condescending?

Just curious...

Pretty sure that this is NickOrangeTvr's car and despite what anyone says it is a fantastic piece of engineering. We have had a bit of banter on the merits of supercharging v turbo, but credit where credit is due, it is guys like Nick and his old man that continue to push things on, even on lumps that are as old as the earth!

Watch out for their next creation; I'm told it should be on a track in 2015.

It's a great car.

Same BHP and torque from an SC 4.0 as my NA 5.5 with all the goodies.

Yes they have had a special lS built for the Cerb with a close ratio gearbox for the track

That video was before the speedo conversion .

Yes but it's going to be a laugh trying to see if the wheels can actually get any traction.

That goes for every 1000bhp car though, even 4wd struggles smile

I'd be more worried about chassis flex once it does get traction, I have an image in my mind of the harris escorts when I think of huge power and torque driving

Firstly this was my first run out after taking delivery of the car - Brands is not a place to muck about if you are not 100% confident, second I was taking out a random who wanted to experience a TVR - so was taking it easy. It was also before we had even had it rolling roaded properly - and before it had the larger pulley put on.

Just to remind everyone it is 360BHP (390BHP if I was on Surrey rolling road tongue out ) and 380lbs of torque.

A better video of track day run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9f5jk2DT4w

Or run @ Santa Pod - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuDzmInPzb8

That was a 13.449 I believe. Not necessarily the best time.

Coming to Shakey Nick?

Yes it was 12.66 (the 13 second was the other car!)

This was first run on those tyres and I backed off halfway up the track as the side wobble you get from them was pretty unnerving the first time out! Plus the track was not 100% dry..

So all told next time I am hoping for 12 second flat with those tyres.
