Hey

Does anyone know where to get this from?
I can't find mind to compare but I think Woolies must do something to suit - maybe R990? If anyone has bought any or could confirm that would be cool

Thank you mate, I thought it looked like that shape from memory, seems to be the same one as Woolies but they are cheaper

Sounds like a silly question but does the grille rubber require trimmimg as the cross braces dont allow you to 'seat' the seal all around the front of the opening. Plus mine bunches up in the corners which dont look pretty, Any ideas on fitting these? A video would be perfect !

Yes the back of the seal has to be trimmed to allow it to go smoothly over the cross braces. It should go round the bends ok but make sure its warm (bucket of warm water will help) when you fit it and then the grille itself will hold it in position . (mine did ) wink

I'll have a look to run it without the seal but I think as it's always had one, the paint/body wouldn't look right without, probably discoloured or marked

How does the grille fix in without the rubber trim ?

I will give mine another go. It won't look right without it as grille edges have been 'trimmed' for some reason in the past so looks shoddy plus the paint work under the rubber has discoloured.

As to pictures look up the later stages of johns chimaera thread fitting is easy dome headed black japanned set screws and four 3 mm rivnuts fixed in the angled uprights.

Looks good, and bonus of no faffing trying to get the grille into the seal.
