Will have a word with him when he comes. He is due next week. To be honest i think i would go for black carpets and maybe black/cream leather. That way if i do ever change the exterior colour then it will go with anything?

Furniture clinic is the place you want to go. They sell kits for exactly this. Loads on here have refurb their seats and interiors!

I have finally made a start on my interior. Got some carpet dye stuff from the Autosmart van (think they call it midnite?) so the carpets will be going black. Just got to decide on interior colours now. One thing i noticed was that when i removed the door card it said "Blue Vinyl" on the inside, will the furniture clinic stuff work on vinyl, or is it just for leather?
Also on the drivers side panel there has been a repair done to the vinyl (not very well) is there a way to repair/fill the damage before re-dying?
I will try to get some pictures up

Luckily i have 2 sets of floor mats, here you can see how much the top ones have faded compared to the ones that have been covered all their lives

this is the damage that has been bodged on the drivers door

and this is the factory writing that confirms i have vinyl rather than leather on the door cards frown

Have started work on my interior now with one of the Furniture Clinic kits. Not sure how others have faired on here with theirs, but my experience so far with the kit is that the spray part of the kit isn't great, especially if you don't want to spend a long time on the painting and risk patching/runs etc. Best investment I made to go with the kits is a small compressor with a 3L tank (40 quid) and a 150mm airbrush with a 0.5mm nozzle (15 quid). This handles the colourant very well as in the smaller spray kits it tends to clog up - no issues with the finishers in the kit. Also gets the job done much faster and evenly.

Am at the office now but will post a pic or too later on the results so far and the equipment if this helps.

Just as a warning, that autosmart carpet dye also sticks to leather, so you'll either need to stick some masking tape on the edge trim of the carpet or use some of the furniture clinic stuff to turn it properly black if you don't want the edges blue.

I did mine and was initially very happy, went from the same blue as you to jag dove grey. Before you start contact furniture clinic as there are a couple of products that don't come in the kit to 1 help adhesion on the vinyl parts of the interior and 2 make it harder wearing and mine is starting to peal off and wear and I'm going to have to start again, sorry can remember the products but they can tell you.

Here is my drivers side before changing the colour. A rather glossy grey leather.

And after using the Furniture Clinic satin black and stone kits.

And if you are going to do it, invest in one of these. Cheap but so much better to use and get an even coating.

Thanks for the info guys. I will get in touch with Furniture Clinic and get their advice, only want to do the job once!!. I already have a compressor so that's one thing less to buy
Called in at the local Dunelm Mills last night to try and find some suitable material for the infills on the doors (pref. Alcantara type material?) but they didn't have anything other than cloth frown
