As requested by a member, here is my ACT with a little more throttle. Tick over is nice and quiet, but she does get loud - if the camera had panned around you would have seen the icey stares from the neighbours for this short engine run.

Finally managed to get some footage, sorry for the wait, what with work, the weather etc.. plus waiting for a lavalier mic to turn up. The GoPro is great, but without the mic, when driving all you can hear is wind.
Anyways, check it out, this is my ACT Stainless Cherry Bomb exhaust, the car is stock / unmodified, all cats in as far as i'm aware.

Make sure you click on the cog under the video and select 1080p, otherwise it loads it in 420 and ruins the quality, also if your broadband is anything like mine, it'll pay to let it buffer for a while, otherwise it'll keep catching up and pausing !

The lanes were full of sunday drivers which didnt help, but at least i got to prove my setup, at one point i glance at the camera, this is not because i'm vain, i was checking that the camera still looked secure, as it was on a suction cup. The 3M stick on windscreen mount works great, but i feel the suction cup mount has a bit of bounce to it at speed, might try a different location next time ! I also might try the mic without the little foam pop shield...

Hi all,

I have had an ACT cherry bomb system, ACT stainless manifolds and an ACT y pipe with cat, I fitted it 7 years ago and it still sounds epic.
For me it is the best sound possible for our V8's, a few of my friends now have the same combination, there use to be videos on you tube with the ACT exhausts.

ACT are fantastic and offer advice before buying.

Nice! I know how you feel about trusting suction cups for the camera. Never had one fail yet, but still ensure to always have a small corded tether to something solid just in case.

Where did you get the red instrument faces?

Is there anyway to stop the bouncyness of the suction cup ? My car came straight from the factory with the Burgandy dials smile

Mine doesn't really sound like any other i've heard?
older bolt pattern manifolds, custom de-cat, pre cats removed and 'custom chrome' cherry bombs

Thanks! I have two mics, dont remember the names but they were 50 pounds, standard cam corder mics, 2-3 inches long, with the foam on, less turbulence sound with it on. Both mics give the same sound... though a buddy told me that the gopro compresses the sound so the quality góes down. The trick is to record to a third party device, will try that next smile
