Mooching around on the net i've found Clever Trevor, Racing Green, Racetech Direct, to name but a few, who supplies the genuine or best parts ? Or are they all supplying the same stuff. I'm currently on a shopping spree for various bits and don't want to end up wasting money on cheap nasty parts that will fail, any advice greatly recieved smile
Racing Green appear to have a good stock, but are they the best ?

TIA

You could add TVR Power to your list. I believe my TVR mainly uses Power and Racetech

Respecting the forum rules and trying to share my experience of raving green is hard, however race tech are very good though, I spoke to Keith who was very helpful.

Very good experience with racetechdirect and tvr-power here.
They also dispatch very fast and we could not fault their quality yet.

Racing Green usually does not bother to answer my inquiries.
Sadly they took over clever-trevor, which was very good as well.

I have had good experiences with all four of these suppliers.
Racing Green has spent ages searching for obscure things at my request for small (on that order) financial gain.
TVR Power 'parts guy' some years ago was working overtime on something and allowed a friend to drop in out of hours and collect a part urgently required to allow me to get to work on a Monday.
I've only used Racetech a couple of times, but friendly, informative, and delivered as expected each time.
Clever Trevor (now run by RG) was always good 'back then', and these days the online parts that they do offer can be a fraction cheaper than RG's own prices. (no I don't get it either, but if it works for them; have fun with it smile )

I will admit, I have never purchased online from any of them. My TVR is too personal to be dealt with in such an impersonal way.
Calling and speaking to people always gets better results in my experience, can often lead to a discount on the shipping (for small stuff), and sometimes to a discount on the parts themselves.
I have no doubt there are others out there equally as good, but I haven't used them (yet).

Rimmer Bros are pretty good for stuff, however, there are times when it's a case of using a specialist. I've used Clever Trevor a few times. Not always been the quickest dispatch, but the stuff has been good.

As for your UJs. I can't remember where I got mine from, but this looks the same part to me.

Racetech get my vote. Keith is a really nice guy and a pleasure to deal with.

Another outfit that has been mentioned on here that is linked with another company that isn't too clever has been terrible to deal with.

All of them are pretty good but TVR Power (Powers Perfomance) are probably best to deal with in my experience over the phone.
