We have enough to buy the 5 units now at the price of £12 each.
So, do you want me to purchase them from the initial retailer quoted
and then people pay me - plus the P+P cost - or do you wish to purchase
the units from ebay as suggested by glowworm and then contact him for
the TVR film?
I suspect the cost either way will only be a couple of quid difference.
Let me know and I'll either proceed with the group buy or not.
Cheers!

Its a puddle light. Attach them to the underside of the door and they light the ground below the door. You can also attach them to other places if you want - for example the door mirrors etc.
Have you thought about red and green neon lights ?MADMAX2 said:

Looks to me like it would be easier to buy direct from Ebay and get Logo's from Keith?
As per my post above have gone for the cheaper Ebay units and some logos from Keith, sorry if this messes up the numbers but couldn't see the logic of a "group buy" that cost more?ETA Ebay units were £9.99 0r "make an offer"..... got them for £9.17
Now £10.99 clicky... snooze and loose

just about to fit these, and have fitted the screens from Keith(thank you)
where have folk put them, and how have you wired them? any pics?
I'm considering putting them either under the mirrors and wiring them off the door release (if the wiring there permits that, maybe with an inline 20 second auto off)
OR
under the door so they operate with interior lights, again with maybe an auto off?
sheep has already given me some wiring notes (thanks) on wiring on courtesy lights but wondered if anyone else had info on the door release button and if that switched live when the alarm deactivates or was permanent live with a switched earth?
id test but my cars at trimmers, so i need to figure out the wiring before the carpets go in
mines a tam by the way
thanks

One switch is to turn footwell/interior lighting on (with the doors closed) and the other is to turn the engine bay lighting on/off. At the other end of the cubby hole is a dual USB connector off the head unit , for USB stick and charger (besides my phone it will also charge my SKYCADDIE for golf ).
The wiring loom just reaches the rear passenger side box going down the centre console without extending (needed some tidying under the dash to shorten the route a little). Had to put a little cutout in the panel but you don't see it behind the passenger seat. The box corners needed cutting out of the body to take the battery and re-firbreglassing but the chassis is very close so there's not much room.
Thanks for the nice comments...
I really recommend the Pioneer DEH-X8500DAB unit, with Bluetooth to my Windows Phone I've got the car audio/hands free system like those fitted to modern cars . The DAB Film aerial needs sorting, I've had it put in the dash and not vertical on the screen(because that looks naff). Reception seems a bit iffy, may try a solid T aerial in dash.Infinite colour settings to match the car. I've now bought a second Pioneer unit to replace the Alpine unit in my Tuscan Vert.
