Ian, how come your max at the fly is 'only' 358.8? Or have I misread it?
Search me mate! I think it must be something to do with the correction factor they use to calculate flywheel. I'm not particularly into the bhp thing but one assumes they are always measuring it at the wheels on a rolling road and then covert it to flywheel but I may be talking complete bks!!

I would be interested in the answer though as for comparison mine is quoted at 330.5 wheels and 358,8 fly a loss of 28.3 or 7.88% of flywheel lost through the drivetrain. Yours is quoted at 314.8 wheels and 360.9 fly, a loss of 46.1 or 12.7% of flywheel lost through the very same drivetrain.

Someone must know the answer but it aint me!! I just know it looks nice, sounds nice and drives nice to so happy days!!

Went for a relatively mild cam and standard rockers Daz as driveability was important but may change that over the winter. That said may leave it alone as it works well and is beyond my current level of capability. Probably I will get more out of the car if I spent the money on the driver!!

Im no mechanic Daz but I think its a combination of a number of things - John Eales heads with larger valves, reduced flows and the cross over manifold with 48mm individual throttle bodies and the ACT Exhaust are the major contributors I would think.

Ian, nice motor that's for sure.

I really enjoyed driving it at Bedford. It felt similar to mine but.......different!

Probably revved a little more at the top end due to the better heads and no doubt the throttle bodies even though you have a milder cam.

If you were to fit a wilder cam you could see another 10-20 horses I guess.

Looks the dogs Ian biggrin

Are you running with the filter set up as per picture or have you plumbed hoses down into the nose? Just wondering, if it's as per picture if you're getting cool air?

Looks the biz... never got to look under the bonnet when we were at Snetts last year....

You can really take the piss with your cam choice when running TB's (or carb per pot) set up correctly they will turn your spikey cam into a pussy cat thumbup rather than a splashy lurching bunking bronco while the single plenum struggles with contaminated air distribution frown

Rumour has it that in addition to what you say above Simon regarding ITB's and cam choice, depending obviously on spec, the ITB's can add up to 20bhp & torque... not found anyone who can actually verify this though...
