Extended sump? What's that. Did Mat make it? confusedsmile

No, it came from these people. I bought the increased capacity baffled sump, has baffles in strategic places and two trap doors. I didn't bother with the windage tray.

Mat fitted it for me and was well impressed with the design and quality of the work.

AFAIK, straight on with a bead of sealant, can confirm no leaks at all. Give Mat a call if you need to be certain or need any further info - he was very interested in the sump design and construction. He gave me a very funny look when I asked if I needed to get a gasket.

As I said above, it takes 9.5 litres of oil. You use whichever oil you prefer, Nigel, but for reference the Shell Racing I mention only took 48 hours to arrive from Germany and you get to track it all the way as it comes DHL. Nice big yellow drum with a decent pouring spout.. £5.30 a litre is half the normal price.

I trust you just ordered the straight one - the one with wings won't fit AFAIK.
