The window frames are beginning to oxidise with slight pitting, also header and expansion tank....Any magic remedy?

Solvol then quality wax polish. The Solvol(maybe just called Autosol now) needs to turn black as it takes of microns of ally then polish off fully before waxing.

+1 for Autosol.
I just did mine with it and a mop attachment for the drill, it was off the car though, don't know how much access you have with it on

Not done with autosoll but you will get the same results

Did you buy the Belgom from the link that was posted or elsewhere.

PS.. I Don't think it's a seriously boring question at all,as I have the same happening on mine and thought I would have to live with it.
