Have a look at this link and make your own mind up. TVR got it right by using the AP caliper.

So how do they compare to WMS and the Brembo kit ?

Are they a good buy ?

Hi Daz,

What did you go for in the end, did you buy one of these kits.
I am interested to know, as I think a brake upgrade is on the list of winter jobs.
Give us an update
Cheers Kev

Yes i bought the Hi Spec ,wanted to go for the 300mm discs but it was touch and go if they were going to fit behind the 16" wheels ,they probably will but did not want to take the chance,I have ordered the 283mm discs and 4 pot calipers .

They are going to be more than enough for a light car .

Daz, could you let me know the contact details of the guy you have bought from as the original ad seems to have disappeared.
Thanks.

Daz,
I managed to squeeze in 305mm diameter discs for the AP caliper, the disks are bosch and are off a grand jeep cherokee, £40 each P&P.

I don`t want to take the chance ,283mm discs with 4 pot Hispec calipers are a massive upgrade .

Do you have 5 stud hubs or do you re drill them to 4 stud?

I use Mk1 Focus RS front disc. They're 324mm but I turn them down to about 314mm and they fit behind a 16" imola with a cerb AP caliper.

Hans did me a favour ,he had the brackets re drilled to 12mm and supplied larger bolts to suit because i have the cosworth /Granada setup .
