Replaced boot strut, Fiesta fits!

Just FYI a current shape Fiesta boot strut does the job perfectly if you need to replace your boot support. They are about£30 new from a Ford garage or a hand full of pounds from a scrapper.

I popped it in today so no more holding the boot open with my head when I fuel up/stow the hood.

Result!!!

Yes but it may be a bit to stiff and warp the boot .. They are measured in newtons .

Difficult to fault SGS, IMO. I bought the wrong struts (tip - note year of car before buying) and they took them back and exchanged without so much as a mumble.

Didn't even tell me to read the bloody web page properly next time. Simply got me to read the old details and sent me through the others.I have also bought one for the wifes bus.

I wish you'd posted this yesterday morning I bought a gas strut yesterday, but I saw nothing on the site about there being more than one to choose from or asking what year my car is.

Guess I'll find out today if I was lucky or not...
