To everyone on this great forum who has helped with questions and given advice over the last 4 months or so, and the chaps at Bespoke.
The Chim passed her MOT a few weeks ago, and since then I've had the 4 wheel alignment and checkover done by Bespoke Performance and done a few little bits to get her up to scratch.

So yesterday I took a trip to Bournemouth for the day. 230 odd miles and she never missed a beat. I remember thinking on the way back last night, that it's hard to believe this car was sat still on an industrial estate for over a year and a half before I bought her in April. I did just what I thought was necessary to get her through an MOT, so it was not a resto by any means. More of a lash up. But wow she performed on the way back! I'd say I spent £600 in parts and sundries, and another £500 to Bespoke. So just over a grand got her roadworthy again. Quite why she sat there for that amount of time I don't know..

From a sorry state parked up and neglected:

To being back on the road making a noise smile

Cheers
Cad

Garage queens IMHO - and multiple owners too. One guy near here has 5 - four using half height hoists in his double garage, and one on the drive. Whilst it's possible to drive one Smart car with each foot, it's not advisable to try it in a pair of TVRs. silly
