Anyone know where I could get my hands on one? My Chimaera wood dash is terrible, to the point where the previous owner sprayed the lower section black with a rattle can. Not a particularly luxurious place to sit.

Spoke to PPC who I believe are the authorised retailers of leven gear, they have none in stock and aren't planning to get anymore in the near future frown

Thanks in advance!

I should add, I'm interested in alternatives of the alloy variety also if nothing turns up, just happened that the leven one looked like great quality and can't find much else searching.

I cannot vouch for the quality as I do not own one but I know SC Power sell them...

I too need a replacement walnut dash. Mine is fubar.
I was thinking of having it powder coated satin black, but think I may just stick with veneer.

Funny I was on tvr-mads the other day and couldn't find any navigation on the site to their products! I'll save that link, seems reasonably priced that. Anyone else got one of theirs fitted? Like the look of that twisted stainless one from SC also, good shout!

Nosh your images are scaring the crap out of me about tacking removing it over the next few weeks! Some great suggestions here, thanks. Really fancy that brushed/twisted alloy, have my heart set on it so ill make some enquiries to the above companies tomorrow morning!

To be fair, my wiring was 'bksed'....

....after a trip to Carl Baker (to fit a real alarm), he suggested I might want to 'check it out' - done that, and now all the little dash gremlins I had all went....

.....and it was a good opportunity to get to know my bootiful car, rather more intimately.... wink

Best of luck!
Nosh.

This is what my new TVR Mads stainless dash material looks like. Very pleased with the finished appearance

Pupp that's fantastic, mines an early dash (boo!) so let's hope they have one to suit!

BFG you wally. Did you not see the word 'veneer' in my previous post?

Paid more from centraltvr, but does look a real quality product. Am a little while away from being able to fit it but will post pics when it is done.

Leven - No stock
TVR-Mads - No Stock of the chequered (don't fancy brushed style)
SC Power - No stock of turned style, just brushed (my favourite)

Looks like I may have to live with my crumbly dash for a while longer!

Anyone have a old knackered dash set lying around for an early 3 button car?
Might look into refurbishing it at this rate.

Peter has done a fantastic job of redesigning the Griffith Dashboard. I have no idea if he is planning to create a Chimaera version...
