I'm thinking about fitting poly ARB bushes - I'd be interested to hear peoples experiences - is it a worth while mod?
Thanks
I wouldn't poly bush the wishbones as the OEM metalastic bushes have very little give in them anyway, and they isolate vibration brilliantly without compromising the handling. Thanks
But I did try poly bushes on the front ARB as a test, it worked well so I went poly on the rear too.
The biggest difference were provided by the Leven rose jointed drop links though, just watch out for the cracking brackets on the wishbones.

I've beefed up the brackets
What type of improvement did you notice? Better turn in?
From memory the difference really wasn't that great, so don't expect an earth shattering improvement from poly bushing your ARBs.What type of improvement did you notice? Better turn in?
However, by the time I'd poly bushed my ARBs I'd already fitted Gaz Gold Pros, Leven drop links and replaced the OEM Metalastic suspension bushes with new ones using the nylon thrust washers as used in the later "T" cars, all that lot did genuinely transform the car.
My honest advice is, if you haven't addressed the drop links yet fit the Leven ones before you worry about the ARB bushes.
And obviously if you're still on the original Bilstein coil overs get them changed for something better, I enjoyed a massive improvement from fitting Gaz Gold Pros and they've performed brilliantly for thousands of miles.
A decent set of coil overs and the Leven drop links are the route to better handling, but if you've done all that already by all means poly bush the ARBs just don't expect them to transform the car.
Dave.
