Good ones are increasing in value too.
They sound great flat out.
yes

I had both a DC2 Integra Type R, and subsequently an Accord Type R before my Chimaera - both sounded incredible, although they did sometimes feel a bit anti-social when making progress. Almost 10k rpm (the limiter had been moved on my Integra) in a bright white coupe with white wheels will do that though hehe The Accord didn't quite have the same capacity for revs (it was all over at a measly 7,500 or so), but the 2.2 H-series engine had more torque and with the obligatory mongoose exhaust and Typhoon induction it sounded like a touring car biggrin

I drove an S2000 on a few occasions as I saw them as the logical next step, but I couldn't get over how relatively lardy they felt compared to the Integra and Accord- I was expecting it to feel more nimble. The Integra/Accord were also both much more 'thrashable' without the risk of doing silly speeds or disappearing off the road at a funny angle. I always felt it needed a 'Type R' version of the S2000, with some of the weight stripped out. I never made the change in the end- by that point I'd decided if I was going to have the compromises of a 2-seater soft-top I may as well get a TVR, which I did.

Going from those high-revving Vtec engines to the RV8 in the Chimaera took some getting used to at first. Every time I see an S2000 though it makes me want to try one again- I love the looks and that engine is a masterpiece.

In a weird way the Tuscan feels like a good hybrid of the Chim/S2000 - i.e. more modern inside, a much freer/higher revving engine, but still retaining the crazy TVR looks and performance.

I had a little play with an Accord Type R on a dual carriageway, it sounded awesome when it went past me at first, I had trouble keeping up with it!

Yes I’ve watch all those vids !! Brillant ! But thought you had sold it or selling it ?
I fleeted with the idea briefly but there wasn't really any interest, plus now summer is on the way and I may actually get a chance to drive it, I'll probably stick with it for a while!
