I much prefer the cowled look on Chimaeras, it tidys up the front a lot.

Nice work on the sealant finish too.

Same colour and cowls as my car.

Difference is mine has hundreds of stone chips. frown

Nice job, I like the grill on the lower part of the grill opening.

Oooo very pretty, I love the mk3 headlights and they'll always be on my fantasy list. Care to post some photos of the underneath of the bonnet? I've been considering putting mesh there when I change the heat shield but couldn't decide whether it would look like too much of a bodge from underneath.

Hope the pictures help. The lower grill is removable so access to the filter is not an issue. I never liked looking at the front and seeing the washer bottle. Now all I have to do is fit clear indicator lenses!

No idea Anthony!! it has had several owners, but it seemed they all looked after her, so I intend to keep that up.

I don't think she has had any new paint. There are a few chips too - just managed to avoid including them in the photo!!

Would like to know how you have fixed the front grill, its been on my list for ages but cant figure out how to do it.
