I need to change my diff oil mines a late 1995 Chimaera 4.0HC

What's everybody using? Good recommendations ? Source easy? I'm near cov/nuneaton

How much do I need to do the job?

Is mine a GKN or a BTR diff?

Mine has the fins

Cheers

I use Morris 85w140 fully synthetic in my BTR diff, I think this may have been what was originally used at the factory, for some of the time at least.

John Reid, Grantura engineering recommends only one oil that was developed for the BTR diffs.

Damn, it's in the outer garage, I'll look tomorrow.

John recommended Morris 75W140 fully synthetic as mentioned above. He was pretty adamant it was the only oil to use even though he didn't sell it!
