Just a quickie, but which brake lines do I want for the front and the back?

Also, can I fit bigger discs on the rears with the standard calipers (500)?
Not sure how much detail you want on the brake lines. My front flexies fitted the 887/888 calipers. I already had braided hoses.

The rear discs can be enlarged and the original caliper reused. You'll need a spacer for the hub carrier or a new hub carrier to move the caliper out. I think 273mm solid discs are the biggest from the Ford parts bin.

I think these would be the hub carriers to go with 273 discs. Price includes new bearings http://anembo-engineering.mybigcommerce.com/2wd-bi...

How much are looking for? Do you think they will fit under 15-inch wheels?

I paid £40 from a cosworth breakers for the hub carriers ,this allowed me to fit the later spec 273mm "vented discs" and i purchased new OE calipers a couple of years back ,they will be up for sale very soon .

You could mail Hans who i bought them off . They were not cheap ,i upgraded to quality vented slotted discs .

I`m not sure if the pads will come with the kit ,not sure if the 300 kit comes with bigger calipers .

The only reason I`m swopping them is because i`m also going for rear 300mm brakes .

Cheers. So the hubs need to be changed to increase the size of the rear discs? Getting expensive for that!

I'm looking at getting some new braided hoses. How long and what fitments?

As Daz points out, Ford hubs can be had cheaper. If you enlarge the diamter of disc the caliper needs to be moved outwards too. I've not seen adaptor plates so the hub carrier needs to be changed. That said, I'm sure there would be an adaptor plate out ther given how popular the Ford kit is in the kit car and clubsport world.

ETA Sorry can't help with the hose lengths. I fitted the kit to an S3C.

Which ford hubs do you need for the rears to accept larger discs? I would like to keep my four bolt 18" SP12 wheels, so don't fancy a five bolt hub.

The carrier hubs I linked to fit but check with the supplier that they are for the models in the next sentence. For a Ford part, 4wd Sierra or Escort Cosworth according to the thread Daz linked too.

Link works for me. Not sure how to fix it.

Search their site for 2wd billet rear hub carriers for Cosworth.

I'd double check with the supplier that they allow for a 273 disc. I was shown them by a fellow PHer and marked them to fit as Samy is rebuilt.
