Car won't start. Fuel pump primes but engine won't fire but emits strong smell of fuel. Any thoughts. Thx.

I would suspect a fuel pipe leak. From my own experience the pipe over the back of the engine by the bellhousing had chafed and worn through. Worth checking all your fuel pipes before yikes

I'll check the pipes in daylight but they were replaced 3 years ago so be surprised if they have perished stain so quickly. Cure for flooding ?

I flooded mine last weekend.

Get the plugs out and give them a good clean and dry them (I used an air line).

If the plugs are really fouled up then it's probably more simple to just replace them.

I know why mine flooded (my fault), I guess you need to figure out what happened.
