Road surface, the camera car gives it a wriggle just before he ditches it. He doesn't brake until he was way past saving it either, the steering lock on these cars is pants
Looking at he crashes into a big red sign saying SNOW, I'm going to guess it might have been a bit icy.

Greasy road. Not sure what happened, but possibly throttled too hard whilst on a gentle turn. Slippy road, instant power and loss of traction. Hope the driver is okay. He's lucky nothing was coming in the opposite direction. It is also sad to see another TVR bite the dust.
It happened to me last year at about 50/ 60. Similar road conditions. It took me a few seconds to realise, however, I was fortunately travelling in a straight line.

Had his LSD been faulty he would have just spun up 1 rear wheel and sat there, but 1 spins up and the other still driving pushes you in the direction of travel, As Peter says either lift off but generally you are over-correcting the steering before you can lift off or you can try to power out 'drift style' if you have very large testicles.

Over the years i've had a few moments like this but fortunately managed to collect it all up,never fully sure whats caused it as circumtances have always been diffent but it looks similiar to this you tube clip, the lurch to the left and away she goes.i've always had in later years, top rubber and aftermarket suspension and set up

thats indeed the rear first, you see that a lot, but when the front goes first left (or right) as it looks in the OP video, it could be an accidental pull at the wheel when perhaps doing something else or something happens say try to hit a wasp/fly or a cigarette falls out your hand or something like that?
or something mechanical fails, say a front suspension part that brakes off, something like that that causes the front to act strange?
