Don't really know what that guy was going on about there to be honest, the only way you can make the metallic appear coarser or more prominent is to either dust it on or whack the air pressure right up, but either will just make it stand up and not lay flat, which it needs to do to reflect the light prperly.I've just had a look at the mix on my work system and this colour contains a load of extra course aluminium, so just applied normally it will give a real appearance of a sort of metal flake grey.
