And to add a bit more confusion.....

Good luck.

This has really put the cat amongst the pigeons. I don't think black suits the Estorils but a few shades darker than yours would work brilliantly with the yellow. A dark shadow chrome/anthracite sounds perfect...

Sounds to me like you're not so happy or convinced with the outcome of your £200 spent. Have you got a picture with a full side profile.

Anthracite was the approach I was going to take rather than black.. But as Peter asked before Mat or gloss is the next decision.

A900ss gets a thumbs up from me,looks very nice against the red.

Jamie,

Look forward to seeing you and the new upgrades at the tunnel run. I presume it's just light trickery but your car looks black as well.

Personally, I think the Estorils suit silver and look great on a yellow Chimaera, just as TVR intended, but I am biased smile

Just a little update - I've decided to go with the Estorils after a touch of negotiation and they'll be done in shadow chrome. Will post up pics next weekend when they are on the car.

Although I haven't been able to pick up the car yet I have just found this picture on their website of my car with the Estorils on:

Thought they might be a bit darker but the proof will be when I see them in the metal.

In regards to the price or estorils this day- I have just agreed to sell mine for £800, with almost new tyres and in excellent condition. That's exactly the same price I paid two years ago for them and I got in early as loads of people on this forum were after them.

It's just how much they are because they are a rare wheel

I have them also on my car, here they stand a bit in the shadow were they look a bit darker>

and here a bit more in the sun>

I think a great colour for LM wheels, not to dark not to light

That looks awesome smile

Took mine off, but seeing that makes me tempted to have them done in Shadow Chrome and put them back on...!

100% upgrade on your original pic with the Imolas, personally not a great admirer of the imolas anyway, so that doesn't help with my view of colour
