I'm looking for pretty much all seals from front to back.
Gearbox I believe is the SD1 LT77 which I can get seals for but also looking for final drive out of box seals (if it doesn't come with the box kit), diff seals and drive shaft seals but I can't find them. Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Thanks
Colin

That mentions the T5 box and BTR diff where I have the SD1 and GKN diff. I'm guessing he knows both, but does he sell the seals or are you saying he would be able to point me in the right direction ?

He does all TVR.

I should imagine he'll sell you a set of seals.

Out of interest, where was the diff sourced from or was it built for TVR ?

Just found this and even though I don't think I'd try it myself it might be useful to someone else searching this.

Phoned but unfortunately nobody answered so I emailed and got this.

Hi Colin

The SDI parts you can purchase off Ebay but the seal & parts for the GKN are dealer only, I do-not sell I only supply to my customers repairs..

John Reid

Seeing what poor shape my diff was in at less than 40K miles, I'd have a full check over by Reidy.

You could also try Bernie the gearboxman and Dave Porter?

Right, the search so far......
I now have all seals and gaskets for both gearbox and diff except the main diff body gasket marked in this picture with the letter A next to it.

Any help and or ideas are more than welcome.

Thank you all that have helped so far.

Thanks for the link. That's the most info. I have seen on the early diff, it's i pitty they don't show the workings of the sensitork component (which I figure is what our cars use) but still good info cheers.
Re. The rear gasket I don't see why you can't delete it and simply use a goog quality silicon sealer or locktite master gasket?
A lot of modern vehicles just use silicon in this situation especially if the cover is dowelled on (as I think ours should be because it mounts from there)

Could have thanked me tw@t, it's my website wink

Silicone has been used at the rear on all the diffs I've seen rebuilt by the professionals.
