Taken to a company down South who will refurbish(silvercoat process) for £60 each, will let you know the quality
Any news on the lights yet? I'm keen to get mine done but would like to know what you think of yours?
Hi still waiting, but where ever you go they tell you 4-6 weeks to complete.

Why that long i do not know...slow process to do correctly..who knows

On the subject of trimming the rear inner arches, I just found these Mark.

My 5.5 trimmed by previous owner, (dare I say mine were better!).

And the differance between a 255/40/17 R1R on a 17x8" RL7
And a 265/40/18 Triple 8 on a 18x9" RL7.

You will need to trim the arches for both.

Hey Chimv8

Have you done any soundproofing in the cabin before putting carpets in? I want to do this! Remove some of the resonance and road noise...
TBH my personal opinion on this is,if you have a coupe/hard top maybe you need it,but top down whenever you can, cant see the benefit

I love my chim but on some trips I do 10 hour stints in it. It can get tiresome with the roadnoise. Exhaust sound, I feel, is not an issue.

Things have slowed down at present as we are waiting for the interior to be installed along with front windscreen.

Thought i'd share how well the exhaust fits.

Bought the s/s exhaust of a PH member, who had sold his Chim a number of years ago,and never got round to fitting his new one done by a friend of his,was stashed in the trusses of his garage.

Needless to say, mine came without one, so took the chance, and i am well pleased with the gamble, all we need to know is what she sounds like!!

By the way she is connected to Clive's Y piece to complete the look

Centres look the same, just didnt unpack for the pic...

They should be a great back ground for the headlight, and i have the satisfaction that they are original.

£160 inc vat and delivery...bit to much for some but as on other threads owner prefrance LOL

Wow.... sparkle sparkle!

Unsure if such a 'Clean' light works on a darker colour, but looks wonderful here.
Agree...car is darker red than it looks in pic due to garage bright lights

Crikey seems time passes by quicker every daycry

Well first drive out, steam poured from bonnet with in 10 miles, heart sank, but turned out to be condensation in the PAS reservoir, which help boil the juice, replaced with fresh and all fine..

Then few hundred miles later, wipers packed in,which needed motor strip down and electrical wiring replacing, other than than she is running well.

Been a bit busy last few weeks, so she hasnt been out much, but hopefully getting her to Chatsworth on 4th Oct.

Need to get them final pics on herescratchchinyes
