Did you say "cocking things up gets me even more work thankfully" or would that be construed as more than a tit for tat sarcastic remark
Good job i have a sense of humour ps how's our friend's Griff engine coming along that you're (still?) building. ? Engines been running for well over a year... Too noisy ~ two exhausts so far. Just about to make some custom parts to finish the oil take off from the timing cover (no room for LR schema due to TVR chassis rail ~ ok with pipe screwed in before engine put in chassis but you can't withdraw it in-situ). Idles at 600 rpm, starts on the button any temp, idle valve, purge valve, crankcase ventilation, electric PAS, twin/dual fan control, all working correctly on the measly KMS with high compression and wildish cam Solid cam with extra special valvetrain as quiet as a mouse Twin Lambda gauges and a switch to so either one can feed the KMS, so the KMS can now do its thing properly. Probably cost less than what KMS charged you for that waste of space wideband kit... just needed to reprogram the new outputs to read like the KMS (fixed in firmware - only configurable in later versions!) calibration. That thing has been a pile of poo to get working but hey ho....
Nothing wrong with the kms, their plug and play lambda is excellent.
So what power is it making? The 400hp you were talking about initially 5 (?) years ago when you started or have all your special details released even more than that ? Would be good to see your dyno graph just to see if you can walk the walk after talking the talk
