The wipers on my Chim are not behaving themselves, when you turn them off they will carry one for a fair while afterwards, they normally stop if I put it on fast speed for a few seconds first. any ideas ?

Phone your local TVR dealer and ask for a new 'wiper park switch' only about a fiver and a one minute fit to wiper motor.

Common fault.

Or indeed a dose of WD40 around the contacts of the existing one.

Can I join in? Mine stop wherever they feel like it. Getting pretty good at timing them as they hit the bottom of the screen now though...

Thanks people, I will try the WD40 and if that fails get a new switch.

Same as below.. its the wiper park switch, try WD40 and if it fails go for a new switch. The area is prone to water from the windscreen/bonnet getting in, so contacts can get corroded quite easily.

Cheers

I had a look at the connector not much corrosion, but is appeared the connectors in the plug were not making in the socket, so I re-shaped them and it appears to be okay, gave them a dose of WD40 anyway.

I find that generic 'electrical switch cleaner' is better than WD40 in these circumstances, but apart from that would agree with the advice.

The other thing to note is corroding on the electrical contacts. I had this on the connectors for the fans and needed to rub the contacts down with a small file to get fresh copper, douse the whole thing in contact cleaner, reassemble and then cable tie them up out of the puddle they'd been sitting in
