Well my budding tivvy strip runners.

According to my No3 son who was at a VeeDub meet at the pod yesterday, we run girly cars that a lot of the VAG group would see off, no trouble!

Take this little Golf, it ran a 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



There was also a Skoda Fabia diesel just shy of 400 horses running consistent 11s, more!!!!!!!!!!

According to my son, these guys spend mega money on their VAG and we by comparison are tight wads.

Probably best not to arrange a TVR VAG grudge match..........

Yes but Nick Mann's Morris Minor was running 9's in the late 80's with just a 3.5 RV8 and twin turbo's and 2WD

Its a black art to running the numbers with what you have. Took me over a year to run in the 11's then another 2 to drop into the 10's.

The 'Mann of the hills' was was awesome to watch at York. Was super quiet and just 'whooshed' up the track leaving all the noisy open headered big block rods behind.

Probably only had about 600 bhp also.

Some may do, though it tends to get very busy on Sunday and runs can be limited as a result. Still plenty to watch though.
