2015 Forced Induction meet plus guests
Discussion
I had a great day first time for me in the SC 400 and it was nice to meet a few of the TVR boys there also
My main objective on the day was to beat my mates 911 turbo down the strip my first run was not good
I nearly lost the back end it in second
2nd run was much better and after a bit of a slow start I managed to catch the 911 up and beat him
Happy days .

Well daz, I struggled to get in the 12's
I was still having wheelspin in third [it can do it in fourth on the road as you know] due to a combination of st technique and st tyres. [must borrow some of those fancy drag things sometime]
Still had a good time and nice to catch up with some old faces and meet some new.

On a more serious note Mac and his Turbo 4.6 Chimaera thanks for the blast I have a good bench for very fast cars over the years and all I can say is your car is bloody mental looks great and goes even better what a rush certainly not for a novice this one
You are more than welcome bloke and I'm glad you like it. At least 'you' know how nice it drives and how quick it is when required. [Frustrating I couldn't display that on the strip] I look forward to meeting up again with you mate nigegas said:

It's always good to have a run against a similar car, unfortunately the staff there weren't so accommodating as last time when they would pick two TVRs out of the quee to run together.
I still had a good run with Brummie in his 6.9 Cerb!
We started together, I pulled a good start, Paul got wheelspin and we were neck and neck till about 3/4 way down the strip and the the superior firepower of the Cerb left me........................
That was my fastest time of the day.
Turbo charging has got me thinking....................................

Although I didn't come even close to my best (12.2) not really surprising given that the clutch + BTR diff made total re-learn of how to get away properly which I never did!
The clutch is brilliant - but it has very short biting point and although you cannot burn it out its very hard to let it slip, tried several variations of high/low revs - but never got it right. (that and I fluffed gears on two runs! doh!)
A huge thanks to Mac for being a top gent and letting me have his re-inforced driveshafts (sent you mail Mac about payment)
Great to see so many awesome modified cars, got to be a record for bringing that many top cars togethers?
My Dad took lots of photos, link at the bottom for the complete set, but a few choice ones below.

My best was a 12.32 which was fraction better than Santa Pod last year https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hkcRRIStJg
It was good to meet up and put a few more faces to names. I am missing a timing slip from when I raced my brother, the people in the hut told us a couple of girls had just collected all the TVRs ones. So if any ones picked up a timing slip with TV08 and TV09 on it I'd love to see a pic, cheers
