I've always wanted to do Thruxton as a track day and now MSE are hosting one in March for £189.00!

The noise limit is 90db.

How the hell do we get under that?

A set of these for everyone present?

A nice tax deductible business expense in your case Peter, and sure not to go to waste (over time) hehe

That would pretty much rule out any standard TVR, let alone one that has been modified.

Exactly, although I wouldn't mind a quieter car.

Hmm, I wonder if I could fit a small pair of silencers at the rear.

I wondered if you could do the same with a couple of cats for MOT time.

You could ditch the standard silencer and then modify the ARB to allow for longer cherrybomb style silencers or simply add the cherrybombs to the standard system in the same way. It would reduce your ground clearance somewhat, not an issue on the track, but you'll never get out of that drive of yours with them fitted!

Precat has a quieter system.

He runs an extra box and a single or close double down the centre through a rear splitter.
