Just to add the close proximity the teeth have to the original pulley outer circumference cause no tooth logging errors and is slightly smaller too hard to see in shot, I have done 2 like like this successfully smile

Very useful, thanks very much Simon. So, looking at your photo, you have partially disassembled the crank pulley, in as much as removing and replacing the plate with the weights in order to sandwich the TW behind? I guess things will become a little clearer once the pulley is off and I refer to your pic again. Good idea with the extra weld. I was thinking of something very similar.

Is there a seal that is worth replacing whilst it is off? Front crank seal maybe? scratchchin

You'd have to remove the front cover.
