Hello again,

I've got standard seats in the chimp.
Whilst the car is at RTRacing getting a chassis fix I thought I'd get the seats sorted .

Any recommendations for a seat restoration service. Not just the leather but also sort the bolsters and the seat base.

Cheers
Dave

I think Central TVR have the bolsters etc. that you need to refurb seats.

For seat refurbing I gather that Dave the Trimmer gets good reports on here (www.davethetrimmer.com).

For new, reasonably priced, seats if you aren't wedded to the Chim ones, then try Intratrim (www.intatrimtelford.co.uk). Again, there are Chim owners on here who have bought their seats - think it was one of the Odessey models. They will do them in leather, two tone and with TVR logos I believe if you have any particular requirements. Just keep the originals as well for sale time or in case you change your mind.

Caveat - I have not used either company myself

I used the Trim Technician in Blackpool to do mine, very pleased, good price and a quick turn around.

Could someone tell me what the going rate for having a Chim seat renewed in leather would be? ie- new foam, supports and leather...

Thanks
Cad

The best quote I've got is 430 per seat. One was nearly 600 so if anyone knows cheaper I'd welcome details.

Sod that. I'm going to ask a friend who's handy with a sewing machine if she can stitch the pattern together. The rest I can do.

Where's the best (value/quality) place to get hide from these days? Can anyone recommend?
