I dont understand what the problem is with it...I might buy it as a project but if it only needs interior replaced why is it only 3.8?

I think it's a scam. So far those pictures have been used for a car for sale in Northern Ireland, Brighton and Northumberland in the last 3-months.

Got this email back today:

First of all we want to thank you for your interest in this car. I've almost reached an agreement with a potential buyer. Unfortunately, it looks like there are some problems and he doesn't have all the money to pay, for the moment. The car is still available for sale, it is in extremely good condition,100% HPI Clear, full service history. Currently I am on a business trip to Italy and will have to stay here for about 6 months (this is why I am selling the car for a low price and I am looking for a fast sale to finance the Italian project ). I left the car in Greywell Transport custody ( www.greywell-transport.co.uk ) and they will handle the sale for me. The V5 log book is already signed on my behalf, the car will come with 2 keys, all service records and previous MOT's. Greywell Transport will deliver the car directly to your home address and I will pay all delivery expenses.
If you are interested in purchasing the car just contact Greywell Transport department that handles the sale directly at: info@greywell-transport.co.uk and they will assist you with any questions you might have regarding the transaction
When contacting the Greywell Transport please specify my name ( Lisa Roberts ) and the car make and model.

Thank you

Just bought it. Sent Lisa the money via Western Union. She's pretty fit too, sent me some photos of herself via e-mail. Shame we couldn't meet in person! Looking forward to picking up the beast next week (not that far from me). Will post photographs once its back home. Not sure where to put it now as the Chim is in the garage! biggrin

The address on the website of Greywell Transport is a house in a residential area:

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.265934,-0.876366...

Now its possible that they run the office from a home address but where is the business address with all the transporters, etc?

Also, doing a search on the company phone number only returns one site, their own. Their number wouldn't be listed anywhere else, really? 024 is a Coventry number too, not Northampton.

At least the moderators have done something about it now and removed the listing. Shame really, I'd hoped there may be some baiting possibilities there. biggrin
