Where to lol my Chim 500?
Discussion
I've picked up a niggling issue with my knee on my left leg so it looks like the Chim has got to go as an automatic will be my next car :-(
From people's experience where is the best site to sell with the minimum number of idiots wasting my time?
I'm guessing Ebay will be a prime candidates for idiots.
Ta for any advice.

I've sold 14 cars (one a Porsche Boxster S in 2014) and 3 motorbikes (2 of them to traders) on ebay since 2003 and never had a problem. Famous last words.....
Be open and honest about the condition and you should sell it OK. Vehicles are the one thing you can sell on ebay and insist on cash payment. Fees are £10 for listing as a private punter (business sellers are different) and 1% final value fee (min £20, max £32). A reserve price is £7.99. All sounds pricey but if you want thousands for a car, it's not really.
You won't get top money for it though, the classifieds are better for that, but as you say, you may have to put up with tyre kickers, test pilots and idiots. Generally speaking, on ebay, people bidding want to actually buy it, aside from the odd troll. Had a few zero feedback user bids myself but fortunately they've never actually ended up top bidder.

I have a painful problem with my left big toe, so when a guy I met at a track day said he could lighten the clutch for me, I jumped at the chance. My clutch is now 50% lighter, and having perfected the installation on my car he can do future ones both quicker and cheaper. He installed a servo into the clutch system. Why not fit a Servo to the clutch? Saves dealing with time wasters and not a difficult job. From people's experience where is the best site to sell with the minimum number of idiots wasting my time?
