Could also be the temperature sender in the top of the block, cheap and easy to replace as well.

Well considering it doesn't have any of the afm sensors inside, and the timing is probably slightly out, once that is replaced and if it does not work i will replace the temp sensor Thanks for that mate! Always need the knowledge !

The sensor is in a little hole in the side of the AFM its so small you can hardly see it. Id be surprised if easy start had damaged it its quite robust.

Maybe you have air in your coolingsystem so that the temp. sensor can't give the right reading to the ECU.

Dude, buy, borrow, cadge a timing light and set this properly first.
