That's what I need.

Although my clutch handles the power, just, the heavy pedal detracts from the driving pleasure.

Funny, the heavy clutch is always there on the road yet during a TD or sprint it's the furthest from your mind smile

Gearbox and drivetrain back in plus now sourced the required master and slave cylinders to get the correct throw on the clutch just got to build a clutch stop to make absolutly sure there is no chance off over acting the the clutch spring so a way to go yet but on the right track

McLeod twin plate clutch is spot on, no clutch grabbing in traffic when hot unlike a helix, and light on the foot. Ordered from real steel and mod the clutch release carrier , cluthc nice and light and progressive not just on and off
Have to echo this Nigel as I tried it out for the first time yesterday, first impression is, I'm impressed, bloody delighted in fact. Neal1980 couldn't believe the difference.
It was your glowing report some time back that helped me decide. thumbup

He plumbed a 6 brake servo into the system (that's the basics of it) to reduce the pedal pressure required.

Thanks QBee I wondered if it was servo related. Have been thinking of doing the same to mine.

Sorry - that should have read 6" brake servo (brand new, but off a 60s MGB IIRC)

I might go for that as well depending on costs and if my clutch is still handling the torque.

A, please mail me the costs involved?

been at the wiring again today got all the wires and multi cores into place some have been fitted into conduit and clipped in place some are waiting for tomorrow to come, the wiring for the line locks is also moused through so lots of terminating to come, i am going to use the button in centre of the door opener for the lock as its the only available place which is easily in reach when clamped tight in the harness unless anyone one has a better idea?.

It's looking good John, I can't wait to see it in April. Any idea where you purchased the 6" servo for QBee from? I've found plenty of 7" Lockheed copies and my dad has lent me 7" Powertune one from his GT40. Its going to quite tight, these is less room under the headlight than I thought.

He removed the carbon canister.....
I remember John saying that it was MGB and was 1.9 ratio, which kinda makes it look like this:

http://mgbhive.co.uk/product/mgb-gt-or-roadster-lo...

However, MG Beehive say that one is 7 to 7.5 inches.
Just let me know if you need me to measure it, guys.

No that should be fine, that's what I've got at home I believe. My carbon cannister is gone, I just need to move the washer bottle now.

It's obviously a tight fit. Mine is fitted with the blunt front end of the servo pointing downwards and outwards and visible through the hole under the indicator.
