I've personally never been sold on the idea of water meth 100% until I saw that BMW are bringing it out on there M cars as standard, so if manufacturers are doing it im now convinced it's worth while

I have allready done a reasonable amount off head work in the original build the ports are cleaned up and matched to there counterparts shorter trumpets with bellmouths bulleted valve stems not to radical but an improvement.

I do too Daz although I doubt it, mind you I am getting pretty frustrated not being able to get on with some of the latest ideas I've had whilst being laid up. Albeit most of them revolve around turning the last couple of plastic bits into shiny ones biggrin If I don't make it I hope you all have a great weekend.

I think its the wrong engine to SC - yes you can get silly amounts of power but the car is not (without huge work) ready for 500+bhp - but the 5 is a weak engine already, so without rebuilding the internals (also at huge costs) is it really worth it?

I still think the 4.5 (or even better the 4.3) make the best starting point for SC.

I agree with Alex, the moaning is getting tiresome rolleyes

Jammy's woes could be as innocent as a catalog of naive choices and pish poor project management, it could also be he's been genuinely & astonishingly unlucky.

No doubt Jammy has been the victim of one criminal/shyster, but the list of contractor issues does seem to go on and on....and on.

The bottom line is he's either the unluckiest man in the world, or there's a bit more to it than we know scratchchin

Jammy does come across as a nice guy in cyber land, but has anyone actually met in the real world?

Whatever the truth is I do wish him all the best with his project, but there always comes a point when the "I'm The Victim" speech should stop.

Anyone who starts a project like that needs to take on the role of project manager and accept there are going to be some big challenges, if you're not mechanically minded like Jammy you better contract the project out to someone skilled you trust unequivocally.

Either that or be prepared to drop your pants and to get stocked up on KY Jelly eek
