She's gone
I feel so alone
She's off to a better place
That's her away to the trimmers. Keeping with the factory colours. As my whole plan was to restore her I wanted to stay the same and the HUGE bonus is, I really like it
What am I going to do with myself ?
Anyone else need a car done ?

Just taking a break from a mountain of paper work and catching up on threads. So, thank you for a great read. Epic job. Don't worry, she'll be home soon.
It occurred to me that the reason for all the "broken TVR" jokes is actually that so many of these beauties are seen on trailers simply because all the loving owners are rebuilding, re trimming, painting etc.

Quite true now these cars are needing of some major overhaul at some point as we have seen from this thread the Blackpool rot can not be fully seen until the parting of the body from chassis. Although William Ramsay is the best and only person I'd ask to do this, he can't be hurried.
He estimated about 4 weeks to complete.
He used to do all the work for TVR and TVR dealers up here so he knows his way around the car but it cuts my time to finish the car down a bit.
What's your target finish date mate?He estimated about 4 weeks to complete.

Cars not here but still stuff to do
Shiny bits
All dial faces flattened the best I could, dial bezels (not sure if that's the right name but black ring) repainted and all needles repainted.
Still got the neons/LED's to do but that can be tomorrow's job.
So, a little tip - when you put the large dash into the car make sure the two large dials are not tightened in fully against the dash face - only do that once the dash is in its proper resting place i.e. 'curved'....Shiny bits

Looking good though
