Undressing Kate, my Chim 430 resto.

Thanks guys
Now, as for the fun part. I don't know if it's just me or if it's something everyone doing a restoration for themselves has had but I've found nearly every thing I've done has had some sort of issue to solve ?
Don't get me wrong, I've loved nearly every minute of it but there have been some very trying days.

She's home.
And finally as a small something extra I asked for a pad under my daughters booster seat so it wouldn't mark the leather if she was in the car.
He took it to the next level.

Not a bad weekend in Kate's Carvern seeing as I am on call for work too.
Cleaning and painting of the ignition coil bracket and clamp and fitted it all with the coil.
Cleaned and painted the plates that go top and bottom of the radiator to hold the fans in.
The front indicator holders painted, refitted and lights fixed in.
Also painted the light switch buttons.
Fixed in the lower dash panel and stereo cage.
Connected the clutch master cylinder to the pedal but only after changing the push rod as the new one I'd fitted was the wrong thread. Not an easy job.
Fitted Leven handbrake handle (unfortunately I've lost the Leven button) and new gear knob.
New rotor arm, dizzy cap and HT leads fitted.
New "Chimaera" stainless steel sill plates fitted.
Engine bay ID and oil plates reattached.
Horns reattached.
Cleaned and painted the windscreen wash bottle bracket, fitted new bolts put it back in and connected it up.
Test fitting new window wiper mesh/grill.
Shiny new stainless steel bolts fitted to the top of the peddle box, wiper motor, horns, body side door catch and I'm sure others that have slipped my mind.
All little jobs them self but with multiple call outs it's been busy.
Up on stands tomorrow to finish connecting up underneath.

Well tonight's plan nearly happened. She's up on stands and all the electrics for gearbox and speedo are now connected but that's where I stopped.
Does anyone know what gap should be between the diff mounted speedo sensor and the wheel it reads ?
Obviously need it set before I put the prop shaft back in.
So I crawled out and set to work on her eyes.
New reflectors and fixings going in.
I also cleaned the glass but that would be a boring picture
Until some parts I've ordered arrive I'm running out of stuff to do
